Meet the Committee

Our Committee are hard at work behind the scenes making sure the club provides our members with both excellent training sessions and fun social events. As an England Athletics affiliated club the committee ensures all procedures and documentation are in place to meet England Athletics rigorous requirements.

The Honorary Treasurer(s) of the club is responsible for producing and managing the club’s accounts and finances along with all income and expenditure.

Management of the club's event calendar ensuring that both running and social events are published to the members.

Membership secretary - Darren Williams

 

Membership covers inquiries from prospective members, processing of new member applications, issuing of membership cards, and the annual renewal process.  For members who also sign up for England Athletics affiliation, we process the application and payment for you.

Welfare Officer - Jac Mason

Welfare covers a range of issues such as; anti-bullying, equity, poor practice in coaching and disciplinary and grievances matters. It encompasses policies and procedures to set out minimum standards of expectations, such as codes of conduct, other welfare issues or complaints. Welfare is essential to contribute to good practice within the sport, develop performance and to ensure the safety and enjoyment of the members, coaches, officials and volunteers. It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure the welfare of all those who participate in the club.
